My car was towed from my apartment for $260 but this company has charged me an additional $165 for an after hours fee and a day rate for keeping my car in their lot. I caught the driver as he was taking my car and called the tow company immediately. The driver hadn't yet put in my car's information so their operators had no idea the car was being taken. This delayed my ability to retrieve my car. Once I finally reached their lot, it tool a release agent an hour and 45 minutes to get there to release my car. I could have gotten my car back before it even reached the lot had they filed their paperwork appropriately and arrived in a timely manner. I waited an additional 45 minutes outside the building waiting for the release agent who was inside the whole time. The business is unorganized and preys on people who are already in a bad spot. There's no reason to charge a $65 day rate for a car that had just gotten there, and really only went into the lot because the employees did not do their jobs in a timely manner. Resolution Sought I would like the business to refund me the day rate and the after hours fee.

Western towing showed up outside my apartment on private property, with no warning or anything they started to get my car set up to tow at 10 pm on Sunday, I ran outside and asked what was happening, he gave me no information and just told me to call the number on the truck. I asked him to put the vehicle back down(and according to Assembly bill 2210 609) any time in private property customer asks to release a vehicle that is not in Transit yet they are required to drop it. They used illegal spotting techniques to tow multiple vehicles in our lot without warning it statement. He then proceeded to go fast out of the parking lot while I was standing right next to the vehicle. Multiple people have also complained about their spotting techniques. Their towing company has nothing to do with the building or management. Resolution Sought Release my vehicle and pay for anything that would be needed to release the vehicle.
