A month after I paid in full in cash, I saw chips and holes in the concrete slab they poured. When I told them of my concern, I was told that it was just fine, only with a puffed up, dismissive attitude. I am also concerned about the torch down roof on the carport. It appears like it wasn't done properly. I have been told by Shane Chapin owner that it also is fine and if it leaks call him. My entry door was painted with interior paint, and I was told that they would not do anything about it. I told the son Bo that my maximum budget was $15,000, and he bid my job at $14,919.30. He took off $1,218.30 for tax since I was paying cash. He was so very nice when he set up the bid, and later he was like a bully and very disrespectful. I feel like I was kind of taken advantage of, because I am 72 with no family left here with me. They just dismissed me and left me to clean up the leftovers of the job. There was also nails and cigarette butts left in my driveway. I talked to 2 concrete people and they said that I shouldn't have chips and holes in month old concrete..the concrete is deteriorating more each day. Shane Chapin did say that they could jackhammer it up, but that I would have a bigger mess. He also said he would roller down some stain, but that he guaranteed me that it would be ugly, so I told him no. This company has left me with what appears to be an unsatisfactory and unprofessional job. And they just have blown me off. Can you help. Resolution Sought I am not sure.. if my concrete keeps deteriorating and my roof is unsatisfactory, I guess that I should be reimbursed, if I need to have repairs or replacement. I am on a limited budget, so if things aren't going to hold up, I will not be able to correct the job. Shane also owes me for reimbursement of stain $156.00. He said buy it and he would pay me back for it. I feel abused in this situation, with no way to turn.

Hello, we finished the project and Mrs. Powers couldn't thank us enough. She loved the job and it does look very nice. 2 weeks later she calls Bo and says there's a little dent in the concrete. Shane went up & looked at the job & she showed me the dent the size of a pea. I told her we could grind it or jack hammer section out. She then stared at the wall for a few minutes & told me she didn't like the torch down roof, it looked too black, well it's black smooth torch down. In all, I think that Mrs. Powers needs medical help for either dementia or Alzheimer's disease. PS. Her 1st contractor walked off the job after he started. That was West Satsop Const. I believe she did pay cash, as some customers do, and sales tax was paid.
