The owner was supposed to have a small amount of my coin appraised for me he asked for a week so I gave him a week. I was supposed to meet him Monday today between 12 + 1230 is what he told me. Well 12 and 12:30 came and went and he said he was running late. At 2 he called and told me to go to McDonald's on Kingston Pike next to his shop he was on his way. He left me sitting for 2 and 1/2 hours in the McDonald's parking lot waiting for him. He kept giving me excuses of why he was running late and kept wanting to negotiate a price for the coins he had appraised for me I told him I was not going to agree or negotiate any price for the coins until he was there in front of me with my property because I didn't want to agree to something I didn't know I was agreeing to. It's not the way you do business so after two and a half hours of waiting for him and telling him that I'm not going to talk over the phone about anything when he got there we would talk he never showed up but kept insisting he would give me $450 or $800. I don't even know what they are appraised for I'm not about to agree to something that I don't even know what they were appraised at that's not the way you do business. I also called him Friday and told him that it had been a week and that I would really like to come pick up my coins or come touch base he told me it would be an hour he was going to get them. He never called me back then he told me that I had to wait till Monday and I still don't have my property. Resolution Sought Return all of my property to me I'm pretty sure that what he's doing is totally illegal he does not do business right at all.

This person came into my shop with a story about having a friend of his bring some of his coins in, and that the friend told him he had left them with me to appraise. To start off, we never buy coins that way and we never allow anyone to leave coins here when we try to buy them. It would also be ridiculous to meet someone next door at McDonalds, when that is what the shop is for. I own a business, why would I go to a fast food business with anyone. We do not need to appraise coins to buy them, we offer them what we can, and they take or not. We sometimes do appraisals for an estate settlement or insurance, for which we charge by the hour with a minimum of one hour paid up front. Now he has changed his story to him coming in and leaving coins. Again, I would not allow anyone to leave coins as I would not ever appraise a hand full of coins to try to buy them. The coins he described when he came in did not sound like they would be worth what he is saying. He came back later with the friend that was supposed to have brought them in to begin with and I told him he needs to look to his friend for an account. I have never seen his coins, they were not brought into this store, I would not have a hand full of coins appraised to try to buy them, much less have them left with me, and I never do business out of McDonalds. I have been doing this for well over forty years and do not do business that way. My thoughts are that this is someone looking to scam me out of money just to make him go away.
