I have been on a waiting list for Weststates properties for 6 plus months. I have paid 25.00 twice for a back ground:credit check inquiry. 7/1/23 I was contacted to complete the move in process not completed as of today 9/20/23 after all documentation requested received. Eliminating my ccss rental assistance once and will do again as I reapply 9/1/23 for assistance and still no response or approval from Weststates application 7/11/23 Resolution Sought Complete Job shelter for a my 7 year old and I.

Thank you for your email. We have standards of verifications that we must meet, and there are no exceptions to this. Yes, of course things can change in a 6 month period, and this also means that the verifications we must then ask for must also change. Throughout this entire process we have repeatedly explained to you that we cannot accept screenshots for verifications, or photos taken from your phone. Yet you continue to send these. These type of documents can become blurred, and often lack critical information that we need to meet the requirements. We need all documents to be either faxed, or emailed in a PDF format. In some cases these verifications must come directly from the third party, for example, employment verifications. If you do not have those capabilities, you can go to a local library or computer lab. The reason the manager does not want to continue is because you are rude and disrespectful to them on the phone; you almost always hang up on us when we are trying to explain something. In a previous email we informed you that if you continued this type of behavior it could be grounds for denial of your application, based upon the behavior you are exhibiting to management. Yet you continue to be rude and hang up. We have many customers and our staff is hard working to help many people get into affordable housing. The least you can do if exhibit some level of polite and courteous behaviors along the way to those who are trying to assist you. I am certain that these agencies that you are reporting to or copying in the emails would agree with that, and we would be glad to share our experience with them. Please forward the email that you received directly from DoorDash. In addition, this letter states that you have received an 11 month notice that will be effective as of July 1, 2023. Therefore, our interpretation is that you can continue to work for them through June of 2024. This item may require clarifications directly with DoorDash, and may also require the need for a self employed affidavit and a copy of your 2022 tax return. These are things that our Occupancy Specialist will have to determine if and when we receive the email directly from the third party. Our staff is helping other customers today, and we will revisit this matter on Monday. In the meantime you can work on submitting the missing information, and if you want to continue next week it will be in the polite manner described above.

Dispute I am the disrespectful or rude one and have included all documentation requested/required and I have attached this agencies so I may complete the rental application. I have sent repeatedly the same documentation in PDF and Weststates still will not complete my rental application. I.E. awaiting a response to my email correspondence my evidence will show Weststates properties discriminatory actions.
