I purchased a 2 and 1 Whirlpool washing machines on 8/20/2022. Model number WTW5057LWO Serial number CB1305896. On December 30th 2022 a service order was made to Whirlpool that the machine was broken. They sent Diamond Factory Service to our home on 1/06/2023. The motor and capacitor are broken. I have continued to wait for them to find the capacitor ( part # W11395618). I contacted a genuine part distributor located on whirlpool's website Marcone supply and they informed me that they have 95 of that specific part in stock in their Dallas location and could have it shipped and to me in two days. Whirlpool was contacted with this information and refused to order the part. I am being told they have until February 7th 2023 to find the part (21 business days from the service date. Until then they will not do anything else to repair my washer. They also refused to replace the washer even with the extended repair time. They do not guarantee they will have the part by February 7th and will then have an additional 10 days to decide if they will fix it at all or replace it or leave me with a broken 4 month old washer. Resolution Sought I would like Whirlpool to replace my washer at this time. If that is not acceptable I would like to be refunded for the cost of a capacitor and motor and labor. So that I can purchase the needed parts in stock at Marcone Supply.
