I'm writing this complaint about my Maytag washer that is now a part of Whirlpool Inc. I paid for part Howard needed for my washer that I was given permission from one of the Associates. Whirlpool would not pay me for the part that I paid for. My washer was still under warranty. I need my money. They will not pay me for that part. Resolution Sought To refund my 89.40

In an effort to administer our warranty fairly to all customers, Whirlpool Corporation complies with our legal, written, product warranty. Once a product warranty has expired, any costs for maintenance, service or component replacement are then within the owner's time frame of responsibility. I have already spoken with Ms. Fields-Jenkins and offered reimbursement; she accepted on 3/7/24. The check was mailed out and received by Ms. Fields-Jenkins. I would like my money for the part or send me the part that I paid for. I was given permission to buy the part from one of the associates. I have received the money I paid the company that performed the service which was $150.00. I paid it so this is the check she is referring to. I did not receive a check for the part that I paid for.Thank you.

My washer is under warranty. I scheduled an appointment for a tech. Tech didn't show on December 21, 2023. Contacted Maytag who told me they couldn't help me and to keep calling the service tech. No answer from service tech. Contacted Maytag again who said my part was shipped and received by the service company. They stated that they called him and he said he had the part and would have an appointment for me in two days. Three days later contacted service company who stated he never got the part. Also, my part was shipped to California, I live in Iowa. Got an email that my part was now shipped on the 8th of February, as of February 19th, they still haven't shipped the part to fix my washer. I've had to spend $80 a weekend at laundry mats for 3 months now due to the run around and no one is helping me. Resolution Sought I want the part overnighted to MY house as it seems everyone else cannot get the part. I want the service tech fix my washer. Or Maytag needs to replace it.

I called Ms. Meggers at 319-***-3214 on 3/06/2024 and left a voicemail message with my name and direct phone number. Also, on 3/8/2024, I emailed her at hotmail.com. Unfortunately, I have been unable to speak with the customer in person. The last report from service indicates that the washer was repaired under the warranty.
