I purchased a new whirlpool refrigerator last June 2024 has 1 year warranty the freezer was making a loud grind noise I called on March 11 to report it and was told repairman would come Friday march 14 nobody came or called I called that day and was told today Monday a repairman would Come and got a voicemail saying it was cancelled. I loss food valued at 175.00 and now I had to turn off fridge it smells like burning wires . I want a new one or be reimbursed the price I paid roughly 580.00 from Lowe's it was bought, model-wrt518szfb04 serial -vsd1971017 black in color Resolution Sought I want a new fridge or reimbursement for food and refrigerator, the factory warranty is 1 year parts and labor but now it's very inoporable and smells Like burning wires. Unsafe due to their neglect. And I'm going on a week with no fridge .

I purchased a French door whirlpool refrigerator in June 2023 from the time I purchased it. It was freezing items in my refrigerator. I had two service calls from the place that I purchased it however the problem was never corrected. We kept adjusting the temperature on the refrigerator and to no avail in June 2024 I called for service because the problem was getting worse because of the time that I called whirlpool wasn't sure if it was under manufacture or extended warranty, which I did purchase the extended warranty for $300 at time I bought the refrigerator by the time we got that straightened out, it was middle someone came out in July and replaced part. However, the problem was not corrected again. I called for another service call to have this refrigerator looked at and fixed. Gentleman came out from new leaf warranty because now it was under the extended warranty said it needed a new thermometer ordered the part and scheduled the part to be put in the following week took Took the day off and the night before received notification. The part was on backorder. This was September 3 part came in on September 10 and now having difficulty scheduling an appointment for someone to come and put it in. I work full-time and I have never experienced such frustration with whirlpool and would never recommend the product to anyone, they do not stand behind their products. Worst refrigerator ever. Tried several times to speak to someone from Whirlpool however because it's under exten Resolution Sought Stand behind the products.
