I am write this because I fell this campground is price gaging due to covid and increase interest in camping right now. I am a seasonal camper at this campground and have been for a few years. I found out not by the owners but by others that they are raising the 2022 rate from 2800to 4000 and 3000 to 5000. Blocking people from renewing but not noticing them until they need to sign a new contract. A lot of these people do not have a away to remove there camper. Even though these new rates are for 2022 they are making seasonal people pay it now in 2021 or they can leave. If you come in for a weekend stay and want to book with a person and not online they charge you 2.00 to speak to someone. When you pick your site and pay it in full they then charge you a 10.00 fee to hold it. If you do not pay this they can give your picked site away and move you to another site with out notice. You have two days to pay your electric bill or are charged a fee each day it is late. I renewed my contract and 4 months later I was told I had to now give them a 150 security deposit or leave. I already paid and signed a new seasonal contract for 2021. They feel they can do all these fees and rate increase because of covid . I understand that rates go up they rate in the campground has gone up every year since I been here. 2000 rate increase with no notice and no new improvement is just wrong. They have handled all this very poorly . I felt strongly enough to write this complaint. Resolution Sought Lower there rating , just want it known that they taking advantage of a situation that already hard to deal with.
