I had my transmission being fixed at white water auto salvage it was taken there on the 3rd of January 2023 I had a verbal agreement with them for 1500 dollars and a approximately 4 to 5 day turn around today is Jan 16 2023 and still not done I was told they had to order parts and were waiting on them to arrive ok a few days later I could not get ahold of the business and tried every day leaving message and and did not receive a call until today 1/16/2023 and was informed of the family had a death in the family which is sad but that has nothing to do with me and my truck not being able to get to it not knowing what is going on with it very frustrating as I'm stuck without my vehicle and a way to move my camper I live in I was told to get it off their property when I question them on ordering parts without turning a single bolt there is more to this and need to talk to someone live ad I'm not good online what do I need to do next Resolution Sought Truck being fixed correct and stand up with the agreement we had in a quick amount of time

There are more clarifications to this answer as well as a lengthy conversation we had in messages I have screen shots of. I spoke to him about repairing the transmission in his vehicle he was waiting on a credit card to come in the mail to help with paying for repair. just after the new year he asked if he could have it towed from there impound to my business. I told him I would work it in the schedule once it arrived. I told him once worked it into the schedule it would take 3-5 days to complete the job when parts arrived. Truck was worked into schedule the following week, ordered parts to complete the job. He was asked to come in and sign a repair order so we had written permission to do the job. parts were 5-7 business days out, he had a few days to make arrangements to come sign the repair order and make arrangements to pay for the job to be completed. I ordered parts at my expense while waiting for him to come down. 1/13/23 my mom was sent to icu and was doing bad. answering machine at business stated we had an emergency. He sent a message that afternoon asking if someone was available was told we had a family emergency. Monday morning my mom passed away. Mr. Holland sent me a message at 9:20 am wanting his truck, threatening me with the sheriff. I told him I was not well as my mom had just passed, I was not in a position to deal with him or his threats and would have someone get his truck out for him. I did not have the mental ability to deal with him. We had a heated phone conversation, he couldn't understand my grieving, why I was not thinking clearly or able to deal with fixing a vehicle that we were waiting on parts to arrive for. He kept sending messages after that and I told him I was no longer interested in doing work for him. I was not in a mental position to have him talk to me the way he was nor threaten me the way he was both in messages and on the phone. He threatened me with an attorney, filing complaints and leaving bad reviews. I gave him more than the normal 24 hours required by law to be able to come get his vehicle, I gave him several days. Also keep in mind that his vehicle was in the same condition as it was when it was dropped off. We had not started the job as we were waiting on the parts to arrive and a signed work order. After the things he said to me over the phone and in messages I no longer wish to do business with him. He never paid me to work on his vehicle, did not come sign a repair order authorizing us to do the work and has taken his vehicle as he requested.
