I just hope for Dr. O'Connor to reevaluate his staff because he himself is great, I will never return to his practice because of how rude his staff

My crown had fallen out this morning, so I went into the office to see if they could re-cement it back on today, rather than waiting til next week (the next available appointment date). I thought that crowns were supposed to be permanent (or at least semi-permanent), so I asked the lady at the front desk why my friend Tammy had crowns put in 26 years ago and they had never came out, but mine had come out after 4 years. She, and the lady next to her that chimed in, said they had never heard of crowns lasting for 26 years and that they were amazed mine had lasted for 4. One of them even said she felt bad for Tammy because "when her crowns come out, I'm sure her teeth will come out too." The dentist himself is great. In fact, I asked him the same question and he said he had a crown put in in the year 1979 and it had never come out (funny, since his front desk ladies claim they have never heard of such a thing). He explained that some crowns stay put better than others, based on how much tooth is under them, tooth structure, etc. Why the front desk ladies couldn't explain that or just say, "I'm not sure, how about you ask the dentist while you're back there?" is beyond me. There is more mistreatment to this story, but unfortunately not enough characters remaining for me to tell how condescending the front desk lady was about obtaining my new address and phone number, since I have gone through divorce and both had changed. Could've just asked for them, but it did not go that way.
