Brought my truck there to get worked on on an insurance claim. Truck was not supposed to leave a shop sub to work out to someone else the insurance adjuster came to look at it the mechanic wouldn't talk to him at that point the claim was closed. I spoke with the warranty company they open the claim again brought it back to Jeff's shop. Jeff assured me that he would be there when the insurance people came again he was not. So they wanted the truck out of there at that point I brought it to a different shop and the work was done and it was done in a professional manner. Cost me $543.00 dollars to get the truck released. I want a refund. Resolution Sought Refund.

Mr Taylor brought his truck to me saying he just bought it and it has low oil pressure. We wrote an estimate that Mr Taylor approved. We sent this estimate to his warranty company. The warranty company wanted to make sure the motor was in need of replacement. We did the Ford approved diagnosis. This involved pulling 1 valve cover, pulling 1 cap off the cam bearing and checking for grooves in the cam. There were grooves present and this meant that the upper motor was starved for oil because of the low oil pressure. I sent this information to the warranty company. At this point the warranty company wanted to see the point of failure. I told Mr Taylor that this would require more labor which he approved. We removed the drive belt. alternator, water pump, AC compressor and all other external components. We then removed the timing cover and the right hand timing chain. At this point we were able to remove the timing chain tensioner. We found the rubber gasket on the back of this tensioner was hard and flattened. This allowed oil to dump back into the oil pan rather than to continue to the upper engine. The upper engine components were starved for oil and this caused the failure. This is very common in the new Ford 5.4 motor. I took pictures of the tensioner gasket and sent this to the warranty company. The warranty then came and inspected and declined to cover the expenses of the motor. I even went above and beyond to plead the case for Mr Taylor by calling his warranty company and speaking with an agent, a supervisor and even called the dealership that sold the warranty. They all declined as not covered. This is no fault of mine as I followed what I was instructed to do by Mr Taylor and the warranty company. This issue is between Mr Taylor and his warranty company and/or the dealership that sold him the warranty.

To begin with the truck never had low oil pressure Jeff is making that story up to save his own behind but along to make a long story short the truck was never supposed to leave the shop and it did and it was done by somebody else other than Jeff at his shop Jeff is fabricating and making this story up never at one point did I ever tell him that the truck had low oil pressure because it did not he is just making the story up so if he doesn't want to refund my money I guess we'll take other actions with the attorney general in the state of Minnesota

I towed in her F150 for a no crank situation. We inspected the starter which happened to be a used starter that was in the truck. The main power wire and solenoid wire had been cut. The wires were also hand twisted together which is unacceptable. I replaced the starter with a new one and repaired all cut wires with good soldered ends. At this point I started the truck and the starter stayed engaged and burnt the starter out. Then we noticed someone had installed a new solenoid on the fire wall. They put a main power wire on the wrong side of the solenoid which was the cause of the starter staying engaged. I warranty my starter and installed another new starter. At this point, the tuck started every time. We test drove the truck and found that it was totally unsafe to be on the road as it needs brakes, suspension work and had drivability issues and should not be driven. It sat here 2 weeks before Jewel picked it up. The starter worked perfect when she came to pick up the truck. She can compare prices with shops around the area and will find that this was priced very reasonably. I am not sure why she is talking about something caught on fire as I never said this. Her attitude the minute she walked in the door was very threatening and we would ask that she not come here again. I also saw her at a local business and she said "you better take care of this".
