Windows and doors were ordered in 2021. On 3/18/22 windows and doors were supposed to be installed. After the windows were installed we were informed that the doors had been lost. In May 2022 doors were to be installed. After ripping out (and causing damage to our walls and framing it was discovered they had the wrong doors. They demanded partial payment and refused to finish the job. We currently have door frames that are unfinished allowing in light, weather, bugs, etc and we are unable to get any answers from the company for when the job will be finished. Resolution Sought Finish the job before July 5, 2022 with full repair to all framing, floor boards, and paint damaged. Or full refund for doors and installation with payment for damages.

We had a single door that was installed and the customer claimed that it was hinged the wrong way, despite what the contract showed. We ordered the customer a new frame so that it would be hinged the way he wanted it, but Huttig made the door where the hinges did not line up with the new frame. This was Huttigs mistake and they are making a new door for him now. He has spoken and voiced his displeasure with pretty much everyone here and he even came into the office so upset that his new door was not in yet he was shaking. That is the story and we have apologized to the customer many times. His contract clearly shows which way the door was supposed to swing and yet he says it is all our fault that it is wrong. We went above what we had to do and it has made no difference.
