When I contacted the power company to have power disconnected on the home I own because my tenant moved out. They stated I could not disconnect it. Anyone in the state of Florida can use your address to connect power and keep it connected. Now my house is empty with power on that could cause a fire or anything. Then they tried to transfer it to my name and charge me a fee then I could disconnect. This is blatant fraud in attempts to collect fees. An owner has complete control of their home. Period. I want the customer service supervisor and employee fired. This was harassment because they knew me. Resolution Sought Ensure my power is disconnected. I want the customer service supervisor and employee fired. This was harassment because they knew me.
