When I perched the 2012 Ford Edge in specifically said, I wanted to pay the tax & title, Moe said if I did I would still owe him a payment in a week, which then I said, I would pay it at that time then, when I received the contract I noticed when my daughter brought it to my attention that he didn't put it on the contract so then truck has been recently reposed and myself and my daughter called and ask if we could get items out of the truck and Moe said we had to pay him 85.00 to do that so we go and pay the 85.00 so when they bring my truck up to the front its got items missing out of the truck we had to call the police to receive our items from them on this day Moe wasn't their. Their not suppose to remove items from that vehicle until after 10 days or more of them repoing the vehicle they told my daughter my truck wasn't their the same day they repossessed the truck i spoke with Moe I ask him if I can come and make a payment in what I owed and he said I could not and i ask why and he said because I wont listen to what they say then I told him that I spend too much money with him and he said no I told him the lawyer said he had to wait 10 days or more to take my stuff out of my truck, Moe said tell that lawyer to shut the fuck up. So, I hung up and called you guys (BCA). I tried call in back to see if I can get the rest of my items out of my truck today. Wednesday 08/25/21, he didn't say anything he hung up whenever I try to call they don't answer I have to call private. Resolution Sought Give me my truck or and I can make payments, because he didn't take the payment. They have disrespected me and my daughter in front of other customers and my family and give me my money back or I'm suing the car lot and I want an apology for me and my family. And I went a public apology.

Company Response

Ms. Baxter purchased her vehicle on 7/7/21 on the day of sale was made aware of the total down that included tax and title. Ms. Baxter instructed the salesmen that she was short on the total amount required. The salesmen setup the contract starting payment on 8/7/2021 and a deferred payment (the remaining down that the customer was short) to be paid on 8/1/21. The customer was explained the contract installments as well as given a detailed payment book for the payments. The customer proceeded and signed all documents of the contract. Unfortunately, the customer did not come and submit payment on time and was notified several times that she needed to be in to prevent further actions up to and including repossession via phone conversations. The customer did not come in and the vehicle was repoed. The customer called after repossession requesting her items of which by contract is charged a bagging/cleaning/storage fee. In this situation her fee was $85. This amount can and will be credited towards the repossession fee if and when the customer picks up their vehicle. All item pickups are by appointment, in this instance Ms. Baxter just showed up to the lot without an appointment so the rep that she wanted was not in. In attempts to help Woodville still proceeded to help the customer retrieve her belongings. When the belongings were brought out the customer claimed things were missing and she was allowed to inspect the vehicle for the items that were claimed to be missing. Ms. Baxter and her daughter became enraged and was threating the employees of Woodville Auto and the police dept had to be called. They instructed Ms. Baxter that we gave the items to her that were in the vehicle and to proceed with small claims if she feels else wise. Woodville has procedures and policies set in place on how repossessions should and are handled. The customer was explained this over the phone prior to coming. There is no where stating that the belongings cannot be emptied and stored out of the vehicle again this is in contract that the belongings will be charged a fee due to the bagging and storage of items. Unfortunately leading up to the repossession there were several attempts to have Ms. Baxter in person to help explain and work out her account of which each time she just yelled at the representative and did not come in to resolve the matter. On the day of repossession Ms. Baxter did ask to pick up the vehicle for just the payment and she was explained that the vehicle had fees associated with it that needed to be paid as well. Again, she began to yell and was requested to come in to calmly discuss. The customer claimed she was getting a lawyer and was told that she could do so. As of this point Ms. Baxter was asked to quit calling and advised to proceed to talk to us, she would need a lawyer due to her demeanor and disrespecting language each time she calls. It is with our deepest sympathy that we cannot and will not comply with her demands. Our employees did not raise a voice or be disrespectful to Ms. Baxter or her daughter one time. Ms. Baxter was the one that did not contain herself and had to have a police removal. She was informed of how to regain the vehicle on the day of repossession.
