I joined the gym on March 27th 2023 and cancelled my membership in person April 15th 2023. Because of negligence resulting in an injury. I was told by the staff that my account will be suspended for 3 months then cancelled! I never heard anything after . Which confirmed my thoughts that all was well! Only to receive a letter yesterday 9.5.2023 stating that I now owe Two Hundred and Fifty Five Dollars and Ninety Five Cents($255.96) which is absolutely absurd. I've called the Attorney Office who sent the letter. I was then referred bk to Workout Anytime who gave me another number who then gave me yet another #. After all the run around they insist that I pay the $255.95 already in collections! Please help! This is not right! I am a 63 year old who was just trying to stay healthy. Ended up with an injury which lead to my cancellation and now have to pay for the staff incompetence! Please please HELP me! Resolution Sought Removed those charges because the fault lies in them for not canceling! Their cameras would show all that happened including my visit to the front desk where I canceled.
