I had a small house fire in my kitchen. Worldwide restoration company showed up at my door. They presented the services to me. They came in. They demoed the kitchen and the floors. Then they came back and said that they needed my clothes so that they can clean them I told them that I didn't need them to clean my clothes. They presented a bill to my insurance company for $6000 which they got paid for service and they did not do. Resolution Sought My desire outcome is that I do not want them to get paid for a service that they did not do. I don't feel like I should give them $6000.

We are in receipt of this claim and find it to be inflated and absurd. We did not bill for laundry services of $6,000.00 nor were we paid for the laundry service that we did provide. The bill submitted to the insurance company was $2,072.33 and to date has not been paid. This consisted of two bags of dry cleaning, four bags for wash and fold laundry service and one box of cleaned items. We have invoices from the dry cleaners that we utilize as additional documentation for the items cleaned on behalf of Ms. Smack. Included in our invoice are pictures of the clothing removed from the premises to be cleaned. I can email as needed as I don't see a place to upload. I also have recent emails requesting status of the payment from the insurance company for our laundry services. If a check was issued for that amount, it was not issued or deposited with us. I do want to notate that we were paid for Machines and EMS which were separate services performed so I am not sure if the insured is misunderstood on what was paid out for this claim.

My apologies yes 2,072.33 I got it mix up. But I never got any of my clothes dry cleaned or washed and y’all know that. I told Kareem that I didn’t want my clothes cleaned and he manipulated me to give him clothes that was in my garage that I was taking to the Goodwill. Kareema told me that he would take them to the Goodwill for me. I never got any clothes back and I don’t understand why you always submit a bill for a service that you did not do. This company is a rip off. I would like to see the invoice from the drying cleaning company because I never got any of the clothes back. So please tell me what was why would you summit a bill to my insurance company for a service that you did not do. Y’all are rip offs and tell lies to people that don’t know any better. I NEVER GOT ANY OF THE CLOTHES BACK! I talked to somebody name Frankie who I explained and complained about Kareem he told me he was going to get back to me and I never heard any thing else. I tried reaching out to your company and could not reach anyone. I left messages and not even a call back.

Voicemail for the office is checked frequently and all calls are returned in a timely manner when pertinent information is provided (ie: claim #, address and/or callback number). I am not sure if you had reached out to your public adjuster to alert them of this but there is no correspondence from them in regard to this issue either. I can send the invoice that was issued along with what we were given from the cleaners but not sure that is going to make a difference. We didn't get paid from the insurance company and have documentation on services that were performed. There was a work authorization signed at the time of loss that clearly states what was being performed and if there was any disagreement on that, then it should have never been executed. If it was thought about shortly after, then your PA should've been made aware to alert us so that we could halt that specific service. To date, there has been no communication to us other than this complaint. We were never paid for these services so not sure what else I can do here other than advise what was billed to the insurance company. I know the adjuster submitted a content list which included laundry as well.
