Their ad says that they will accept and sell your diamonds and other jewelry for you. What their ad doesn't tell you is there minimums of what they will except and won't. I submitted four items for review, scheduled and appointment and had it cancelled 10 minutes prior to the appointment time. When I called to ask why, the appointment was scheduled the receptionist that I spoke to informed me that there were minimums on what they would accept. Since there's nothing in the ad that states that, they are clearly advertising with false information. They either need to update their ad with the minimum's, or they need to be shut down. Resolution Sought Fix their untruths in advertising.

Company states; We apologize for not providing a more prompt response to Ms. Dzierlatka's complaint; however we have communicated with her directly about her concerns. Her jewelry submission was reviewed by our team and determined not to meet our minimum criteria for auction. She was notified by email on August 22nd, 2023 of our determination and we referred her to the Accepted Jewelry section of our site (available at https://www.worthy.com/about/what-we-accept) for more information. A member of our team also spoke with her directly on August 28th about our minimum criteria for auction. If we are not confident a consumer's jewelry will perform well during auction with our network of professional buyers, we will set clear expectations with the consumer right away so they may immediately pursue other avenues better suited for their jewelry. Furthermore, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions that were originally agreed to by Ms. Dzierlatka, we reserve the right to refuse to assist in the sale of any valuable for whatever reason, at our sole discretion.
