Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. I have lived in this rental unit for 10 years now and have never had a gas bill higher than 80 dollars and that is in the dead of winter. My last bill was 23 dollars for April. X-Cel contacted the me through mail to say they needed to replace the meter at no cost to me. My May bill is 171.94 This is the bill I received right after they changed the meter. I called them and they said that is why the meter had to be changed because it probably wasn't reading correctly. This all sounds a little fishy to me. It is not my fault that your meter is faulty and further more I they trying to tell me it has been bad for ten years. I rent and feel as though the equipment on or around the building is the responsibility of the owner the the rental units. If there was a problem with the meter shouldn't they absorb the cost? This is a shock. The letter from X-Cel read at no cost to me, well it sure seems like I am paying for it. Resolution Sought Give me my regular bill. I live alone and am hardly home. No way should I have to pay this amount.
