Customer Complaint

I am filing a formal complaint regarding Yahoo's practice of charging $12.99 for account recovery. I was recently locked out of my account and was informed that I would need to pay this fee to regain access. I find this practice unacceptable, as account recovery is a basic customer support function and should not come with a monetary charge, particularly for long-term users like myself. This policy feels exploitative and unfair, especially since access to one's email is often critical for personal and professional matters. I kindly ask that Yahoo reevaluates this fee and provides a no-cost alternative for account recovery to ensure fair treatment for all customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Resolution Sought As a resolution, I request that Yahoo: 1. Refund the $12.99 fee for account recovery. 2. Implement a no-cost option for account recovery for all users moving forward.
