Routing from 817 Dallas St to 4701 Westheimer on Friday Feb 4 at 1:30am. Driver took I-10 to 610 resulting in a $29 fare for a route that should have been $10 less. Price gouging. Resolution Sought Advise driver not to take circuitous routing to increase fare

The estimated fare for this trip at that time is $25. Traffic and wait time will affect the meter price. Meter rates are set by the City of Houston. Do you have the booking number, booking phone number, passengers name, or any other booking info to share so I can find this specific trip to ensure the driver took the most direct route? Thank you.

No, I don’t have any of the specific information you requested regarding the taxi description. I live out of town so I don’t need to pursue this any further. I merely wanted to advise of what I thought was an unnecessary circuitous routing to increase the fare. Thank you for your response.
