I am a DJ based in Florida. I registered for a Yelp business account in August 2025 to try their services. I used a promotional credit, but after it ended, Yelp began charging me without clear authorization. I have not used the platform for months, and my dashboard shows 0 leads, 0 calls, and 0 messages. Despite this, they turned over a debt of $529.60 to TrueAccord collection agency. I am also being harassed by spam calls since signing up. I dispute this debt as the services were ineffective and unauthorized. Resolution Sought I want the balance to be adjusted to $0 and the collection account with TrueAccord to be closed immediately.

I am filing this complaint regarding Yelp's removal of a legitimate, positive review I left for a business I personally interacted with. Prior to leaving the review, I asked the business a question directly through Yelp's platform, and the business publicly responded. After that verified interaction, I submitted a factual and positive review based on my firsthand experience. Yelp initially approved and displayed the review publicly. At a later time, the review was removed without any clear explanation or identification of a specific guideline violation. Removing authentic positive reviews after they have been approved misrepresents businesses, undermines consumer trust, and raises concerns about inconsistent or opaque moderation practices. I am requesting a written explanation identifying the specific guideline allegedly violated, or reinstatement of the review if no violation occurred. I am not seeking compensation. I am seeking transparency, accountability, and corrective action. Resolution Sought I engaged with this business through Yelp's messaging before hiring them. They replied, I hired them, the service was completed successfully, and I left a legitimate positive review. Yelp approved and displayed the review, then later removed it without explanation. This wasted my time and raises concerns about Yelp's lack of transparency in review moderation and the suppression of authentic reviews. I will be contacting the FTC and the California Attorney General regarding these practices.
