I had my 2010 Cadillac Escalade EXT towed to Zolmans on the 6th of February 2023. I had a power steering fluid leak which was discovered at a previous service appt. I was contacted a couple days later and informed that my truck had failed a block test and I needed a new engine. I am still wondering who gave them the approval to do a block test, because I never did. Wasn't aware that they did that when repairing power steering fluid leak. I told the person on the phone to have them do an oil change and see if there was antifreeze in my oil. Than I would know I had a problem. She agreed. I told her if the work was going to be 1200 to 1300 dollars to go ahead with it. I called them for a progress report on the 16th of February. They called me back and told me they were working on it right then and I needed another part which was another 500 dollars. I asked if it was critical and was told no. But as long as they had it all apart now would be the time to do it. I said let it go. Not to put the 500 dollar part in. I picked my truck up Feb 17th. On the ride home I noticed the steering was a little rough but thought it may be needed time to wear in. To my surprise there was a huge spot of power steering fluid in front of my house when I went to leave for work that evening. The power steering pump was whining and I had to stop twice on the way to work and put fluid in it. It is leaking now more than it was. Resolution Sought I would like it fixed, because that is what I paid for. That money was my tax return and I would like it to go to something important instead of just flushing it down the toilet. I want my truck towed back to the business by the person who towed it originally. His name is Andy Hooker. At the businesses expense 113 dollars which I think is fair and reasonable. And I want it fixed at no charge no questions asked. No nastiness, just fixed. That is all.
