If I had been treated with customer service I would have understood the wait and known what to expect.
I live in Raleigh, NC and have a pair of Zounds hearing aides. Zounds went out of business in NC and I had to send my aides to AZ for a battery change. First Nina C. was very nice and responded. I called to follow up after I mailed the aides and she was not helpful and told me they were behind and all she could do was put in a priority request, no timeline given when I would get them back. I called and emailed her 2 or 3 times with no response at all. The only time I talked with her was when I had kept calling throughout the day and actually got her. She made me feel like my following up was a nuisance. I was not treated with empathy or customer service. All I asked for was for her to call or email me back with a timeline. After calling many times again 3 days later to follow up I got Mark on the phone. He actually helped me, got a response from the tech and called me back that afternoon. It is very difficult to have to send your hearing aides away and not be able to hear. The company at the very least should provide strong customer service and keep their clients aware of what to expect and timelines. All I was asking for was a call or email back. If I had been treated with customer service I would have understood the wait and known what to expect.
