Deceptive sales practice

I purchased an outdoor Laguna fire pit , the first base cracked and it was exchanged , this year after unpacking the pit to prepare for summer , we noticed that the paint was peeling , I contacted restoration hardware to see what my options were , they had prevIously acknowledge that the first pit I brought was defective and recalled , they originally agreed to exchange the pit , then called back and stated they were no longer available , when I found the pit on their website and contacted them , first they stated that this would be my forth pit , when they were corrected that this would be the second exchange they then stated there was nothing that they could do because it was left outside , I then explained to them they advertise the item as an outdoor pit , this item is 192 pounds 60w x 42d x25 h , if I was told that it had to be put inside I never would have brought it , I feel there sales tactics were misleading and unethical, they also were unable to advise me how the pit could be repaired , I expect better from a company with their reputation
