I keep asking for what payments I am missing, they tell me if I don't pay they will send me to collections and I would have to pay attorney fees, but I have been paying, I have never been behind on my payments. The mortgage company keeps selling my loan, and then they state I am behind on payments. I make my payment every month, my payment is $745.51 montly (I send my check on the 25th of every month so it will be there by the 1st) but they want to collect $1491.02, and they are wanting to collect that plus a late fee of $54.99, for a total of $1555.95. I have records of all my payments, I should not have a late payment. They are stating I have missing payments, but I have records of my payments. On February 7, 2025, I received a letter dated January 1, 2025, sent on February 4, 2025, stating my interest rate was increasing to 20 percent due to alleged missed mortgage payments. This is completely false because I have never missed a payment. For over a year, this company has tried to alter my monthly payment, falsely claiming I have not paid property taxes. I have payment arrangements with Harris County and Galena Park and have consistently paid. Despite this, they unilaterally paid the full tax amount, ignored my agreements, and never informed me. This is the second year they have done this. They have also tried to force an insurance provider on me despite my active policy. My original mortgage payment was 936 dollars and 33 cents, yet they now demand 3,187 dollars and 50 cents, falsely claiming I owe escrow, which was never part of my loan agreement. I have submitted documentation, sent multiple emails, and made weekly calls, yet they continue to ignore my concerns. They are violating my contract and imposing unfair terms. I demand an immediate investigation and resolution to restore my original mortgage terms. This company's predatory practices must be stopped. Resolution Sought I want the company to honor my original mortgage agreement, remove the unjustified interest rate increase, and correct the false escrow charges. They must acknowledge my valid property tax payments, stop imposing unnecessary insurance, and provide a fair resolution. I expect transparency, proper communication, and immediate corrective action to resolve these unfair practices.
