Stop charging people's credit cards for moneys not owed.

I got gas at Shell 5630 Fulton Industrial Blvd .Atlanta,Ga. My total was 35.00 but they charged my card 175.00. I was notified by my bank of this charge, so I went back to store and they told me at first that they didn't, when I told them that my had notified me, they said it was pending and I asked them to stop the transaction because I had already paid 35.00 for my gas. This happened at 3/6/2023 1:59:19pm. My bank informed me 3/7/2023 10:00am that Shell removed the money request 3/6/2023 8:30 pm. This put a hold on my account and inconvenient me from accessing my money I needed for other purchases!
