Marina Arias The property located at 1611 E. 6th Street in Santa Ana, has been cited by Santa Ana Code Enforcement as an illegally subdivided unit. Landlord/Streamline Property Management evicted all of it's tenants, but could not collect any back rent because it is considered an illegal dwelling. The property should be condemned. It is rodent infested, and disgustingly swarming with roaches and bugs. Streamline Property Management refused to call pest control out, telling tenants it is our responsibility to pay for pest control. I saw the property manager, Maria Garcia, only once in the 15 months I lived there. I signed a fraudulent lease for two years - Did not know there was another family in the back, that constantly partied, right outside my bedroom door. Streamline Property Management evicted all 4 of its tenants, but could not collect any past due rent, because the unit is illegal. Now, they will try to rent to some poor prospects, who are unaware of the condition of the property - and still be allowed to collect rent illegally. This is a dump!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Poon/Streamline Property Management was denied past due rent from it's tenants at 1611 E. 6th Street in Santa, because they misrepresented the unit as habitable. Now they have possession of the property again, and will try to rent to some poor unsuspecting tenant(s). I am taking them to court because scrupulous landlords should NOT be allowed to benefit economically from an unsafe/uninhabitable house. Because of their wrong-doing, all four of the tenants have been displaced. It is a true hardship for me right now, but I will fight through this, to try to prevent Streamline Property Management / D. Poon from taking advantage of anyone else. I am going to the news media as well!!!! Beware of these money-hungry, uncaring, insensitive landlords and property management companies. The attorney defending the landlord/owner was Steven Silverstein - They might have won the case if they could have afforded a good attorney. He threatened me in court by telling me that I need to get out of the property, because he knows where I work. He acted totally unprofessional in the court-room, disagreeing with the judge, speaking out of turn - just throwing a tantrum like a 3-year old. A good attorney would NEVER have to use these tactics - they are good attorney's and they know the law, so it is not necessary - it is the poor-practicing attorneys that need to try to intimidate in order to win - I guess it works most of the time.....but he LOST!!!!! A professional, decent, attorney should have seen this coming - I guess he didn't - arrogance gets in the way of his professionalism. This guy is a shark, he's immature, and certainly doesn't know the law. He is cold and heartless - He will try to win at any cost. Bad attorneys do desperate things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way.....all the so-called good reviews are from landlord/owners that just want tenants evicted to gain possession of property.
