The trial viewers give credit card or bank account numbers apparently in the belief that they won’t be charged until the trial period expires. All complainants say they canceled or tried to cancel during their trial period but were charged anyway. Some complain that the company’s mail box is full or that phone and email messages to cancel are not returned.~~The company complies with California law by requiring acceptance of its terms and conditions (its contract) before registering and by offering a three-day trial period during or at the end of which they say you may cancel. The company’s contract does not comply with California’s requirement to notify those who accept that they have the cancellation right and to use specified language to do that. Nevertheless that right would have to be enforced by a small claims court action in California.
