Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Some complainants allege orders are not shipped as agreed they receive incorrect merchandise or order cancellations are ignored. Other customers complain the company fails to issue credits or refunds for returns or after ordering items advertised as in stock they receive notification that items are on backorder. Some customers are dissatisfied with delays associated with back ordered stock elect to cancel orders but receive no refund. The company responds to some complaints by requesting a copy of the customer's billing statement to verify the charges or by issuing credits. All other complaints are unanswered. The Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Rule allows the seller 30 days to ship ordered products to the buyer unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. If the seller cannot ship within the 30 day period they are required to notify the buyer in writing of the delay and give the option of waiting or having their money returned within seven days. Credit card payments must be credited within one billing cycle.
