This company solicits businesses seeking new equipment by offering to finance equipment lease agreements. Solicitations to businesses are sent via email with notifications that the businesses have been ""pre-selected or pre-approved."" ~~Businesses should be aware that most similar solicitations are quite simply a request for you to fill out a credit application so the company can retrieve your credit information to determine if you would be eligible for credit. The number of times a credit bureau report is pulled can have a negative effect on your ability to obtain credit. Although many companies may advertise guaranteed low rates we advise you to proceed with caution. Many factors go into the calculation of a lease payment including the applicants credit history the equipment being leased the lessors cost of funds the amount being financed etc. Often times these low rates are used as teasers to get you complete their application and frequently the final terms are not what was originally guaranteed.~~Most similar offers we have reviewed ask the company for the first and last month payment as well as a security deposit in advance. We routinely advise careful consideration of offers to extend credit. Do comparative shopping on interest rates and other terms and conditions. In this company's case their lease agreement contains a clause which advises the lessee that if the lease does not commence due to any reason other than their own negligence they may retain any monies paid to compensate themselves for credit and other administrative costs. Read and understand before signing any business agreement.
