Delivery of the SunPapers

About two weeks ago, we did not receive our morning papers. (The Sun and the Wash. Post are delivered together. We reported the issue for several days on line. After a few days we called and were told that the paper would be delivered that morning - it wasn't. This went on for several more days. Meanwhile, we began to get the Post, but not the Sun. We contacted the Better Business Bureau. A few days later (this past Monday 9/3) we received both papers and have been since. On Wednesday morning I happened to meet the carrier and she said that she was new. We are assuming that the issue all along was with the carrier. When we had called the paper and also spoke with a supervisor, we were told that the reason for the problem could not be discussed with us. Had we been told at the beginning that there was an issue with delivery and that it might take several days to find a new carrier, or whatever, we would have understood, we would have expected a credit, and we would have been able to wait until the issue was resolved. Instead, we were offered sincere promises that the paper would be delivered that day. We are glad that we are once again receiving the newspaper.
