Total Scam !

I booked Trio Mariachi Capri for my wedding with Richard Vargas. I found it odd that there were no reviews listed online for this band but Richard reassured me that they had been in the business for years and were very professional. I was told by Richard Vargas that a deposit of $100 would be required before booking them. So I submitted a deposit , then we both signed a contract. The contract was emailed to me with Ricard Vargas signature. I signed it, scanned it, and emailed it back. Everything changed once he had my money. He became very difficult to get a hold of. The day of my wedding, they NEVER SHOWED UP! Richard Vargas later claimed that they had car trouble. After some research online, I realized trio mariachi Capri is listed under other mariachi band names, but is ran by the same people. Please read reviews in yelp for "Mariachi Now" because trio mariachi Capri IS mariachi now. Trio mariachi Capri also has an F rating on the BBB. They also have bad reviews on theknot website, gig salad website, yelp, and pissed consumer website. Be warned. Just because you sign a contract with the band trio mariachi Capri, doesn't mean they will show. Richard Vargas, Javier Vargas, Roberto Vargas/ Emerson Vargas/ Emerson Cardova ( this guy goes by a lot of different names) are family and are all in on the scam together.
