Comments and Analysis

This company's marketing practices are deceptive and misleading. Our experience with similar offers indicates many people have lost their money to unscrupulous promoters who used a marketing technique very similar to this company's method. They contact golf enthusiasts by phone and offer a set of golf clubs to try on a trial basis at no cost or obligation. Potential victims are asked for credit card numbers to ensure that the clubs will be returned at the end of the trial period. When victims attempt to procure a return authorization, they are stonewalled. They later discover that it is too late to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Even worse, some people return the clubs, but never receive credit for them. The purpose of the "trial offer" is to get the victim past the period within which they can dispute the charge with the credit card company. Credit card issuers allow a 60 day period for cardholders to dispute a charge with the credit card company. We recomment that you do not give your credit card information to this company unless you intend to purchase the golf clubs.
