I am experiencing a claim made by Veros Credit, LLC., a business that I have never had any business dealings with or any contract(s) with, concerning an alleged debt. I have requested on several occasions for Veros Credit to send me a copy of the Recorded Promissory Note itemizing any monies given to me by Veros Credit, LLC., in order for me to evaluate their claim and substantiate the debt. I am only asking this in accordance with Consumer Credit Laws regarding Consumer Credit Transactions. Resolution Sought To produce the Recorded Promissory Note signed by Veros Credit, LLC., and Andrea Ellen Howard, in order to settle the matter. I have never done any business with Veros Credit, LLC., and need them to substantiate their claim so I can settle the matter.

This communication is in response to a consumer complaint received on October 26, 2023, filed by Andrea Howard regarding the above referenced ID Number. The details of this communication were forwarded to Veros Credit’s Compliance Department where an investigation into this matter was conducted. In the consumer complaint, Ms. Howard claims to be seeking verification of debt from the Company. According to our records, on October 28, 2019, claimant and Hawthorne Motors Express entered into a Retail Installment Sales Contract (RISC) for the purchase of a used 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. The RISC was assigned to CIG Financial, and in September 2023 assigned to Veros Credit (Company”). An account was created reflecting the obligations thereunder. Under the terms of the RISC, Claimant promised and agreed to repay the principal amount financed in the sum of $11,239.59, plus a finance charge expressed as interest at the annual percent rate of 23.99, as more particularly described in the purchase agreement, in monthly installment of $323.30 over 60 months. The Company, on October 10 and October 20, 2023, previously responded to requests seeking the same information, and views this complaint as duplicative. Moreover, claimant has initiated a lawsuit, in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. Except as provided herein, the Company will not comment on matters that directly or indirectly relate to active litigation.
