Worst Las Vegas experience

Held hostage in a sales pitch for timeshare at Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Was told it would only take 60 - 90 minutes but took nearly 5 hours because we would not purchase a timeshare. They held onto our discount form and continued to pressure us. I was in pain from recent oral surgery, we were tired, stressed, and hungry and they wouldn't give us our discount and let us leave. A 3rd sales person was sent in to pressure us, she was angry and rude to us and lectured us like we were in the wrong. We were finally fed up and pushed over the edge so we raised our voices. Other customers who were there just as long as we were started to take notice. In an attempt to cover their bad behavior and take the crowds attention off of themselves, the sales rep finally let us go. That nightmare wasn't the only problem with Westgate. As soon as we entered the doors we were accosted by pushy sales people trying to get us to sign up for the timeshare sales. Every few feet we were accosted by one of these people dressed in black. We were assigned a room that was already occupied. Our room was in poor condition, shower not working, veneer peeling off of the cabinets, the plug in the sink was stuck so the sink would not drain, room smelled, poor lighting, outdated decor. Twice we requested that the shower be fixed but no one ever came to fix it. This is the worst hotel and it's a dump.
