Licensing
California law requires all sellers of travel to register with the Attorney General's Office and to display the registration number on all advertising. While not assuring that a company is reputable, a valid registration signals that the seller of travel has at least followed the law to be registered. To verify registration you can visit http://oag.ca.gov/travel, or you can contact the Registrar by writing to, the Seller of Travel Registration Unit at 300 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013, or by faxing your query to (213) 897-8846.For businesses outside of California, please check with the agency that regulates this industry.

Our files show some principals of this firm were previously affiliated with companies engaged in a similar business under the names, Holiday Travel Brokers, World Travel Center, and Wholesale Airfare, all of these companies are out of business. Complaints against those businesses allege failure to pay for hotel accomodations, refusal to provide refunds and misrepresentations of affiliation with various discount clubs. Several complaints remain unanswered. The Bureau suggests that consumers consider the fact that the accomodations are not prepaid. Also, the document that the company describes as a performance bond is not issued by a company describes as a performance bond is not issued by a licensed insurance company and, contrary to the company's representations, it will not provide any payment should this firm cease doing business. Hotels we contacted in the company's blue binder have no contractual arrangement with this company. Also, their literature contains other misrepresentations. On May 10th 1999, mail sent to the company's address was returned by the Post Office as undeliverable as addressed, forward order has expired.
We know of no other matter or practice relating to this company that may assist you in your consideration of this company.
