Amazon needs to make calling customer service as quick and convenient as they make getting a stick or gum delivered same-day.

I'm not disputing an amount. Because the $14.01 was refunded very promptly. What I'm disputing is the TIME it took me to get this resolved.
I went into my orders, found the damaged item I'd received and tried to process a refund through their system of drop down menus and questions.
At the end of this process the site told me a refund couldn't be processed and I had to call customer service. But when I clicked on the button to call customer service it took me back to the beginning of the refund request menus.
I searched "customer service" and "customer service number" on their site. It took me to a bunch of FAQ that mentioned calling customer service then provided links to things you can do yourself by navigating the site.
Finally, I found a video that showed how to contact customer service, which again only instructed you on how to navigate the drop down menu and get to a menu where you can request a call back. BUT for my particular problem, a broken bottle of vinegar, there was no final menu option to request a call. So I had to select that my package was lost, and only then was I able to get to a menu option that allowed for Amazon to call me.
This took ALMOST AN HOUR! Amazon has purposefully engineered a site that makes it impossible for even tech savvy customers to get the service we pay for and deserve.

Amazon to have better business ethics

Is it legal for Amazon to falsely advertise a price hundreds of times more than the actual retail price from the manufacturer to then advertise it 85 off to scam people into buying it?
