The company also responds to complaints by sending proofs mailing copies of the ads explaining the ads are being processed and agreeing to extend distribution times because of delays. In some cases the company indicated they are not responsible for production delays and that customers are advised that their second payments are due when the advertised proof is confirmed not when the ads are printed. In a few cases the company indicates that they have several advertisers that they have to deal with concurrently and this does cause delays. A few customers were issued refunds.
