I called Aspen Dental in Statesville, NC and explained the problem I was having. I asked if this was something that one of their doctors could handle. I was assured , "Yes, we perform implants, crowns, dentures and other procedures in our office ". I made an appointment for later that week. I was sent an email with many forms to complete. I was unable to provide information because I had no account number. I spoke with office personnel and explained that I'm a new patient and had no account number yet. I was told that this wasn't a problem and that I could complete info in office prior to my appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early and was given laptop to provide info. I completed and submitted info after which I was informed that nothing "came through ". I completed info a second time and the same thing happened. I filled in and submitted info a third time and guess what? They asked me to do it again! I refused so a staff member began asking me questions. It was going better until she told me that I needed X-rays before the dentist would see me. I had recent X-rays less than a month ago which they refused to even view. I certainly didn't want to pay for more X-rays before the doctor even knew what kind of work I might require. Apparently, everyone has to get X-rays before the doctor even meets a patient! At this point almost two hours had passed and I left. Wasted time and frustration! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
