BCA's Summary and Analysis:
Complainants allege the company uses high pressure sales tactics and false representations of employment for modeling or auditions to collect fees up to $600. The company displays photos of clients on its website. Some complainants allege that the total cost of the services is much higher than the cost originally quoted; others say the photos submitted are unprofessional in quality, or that there are delays in posting pictures on the Internet. Still others complain that their accounts are continually debited even after requests are made to cancel and that the company fails to issue refunds. The company generally responds to complaints by continuing services, offering refunds, or explaining its services. The company contends they do not promise work or sell professional photos. They say they are a submission service that takes photographs and forwards them to casting notices that meet the description of the artist. The company states a portion of the fees paid is outsourced to a different company for photo services.
