Effective October 11th 2009 it is illegal to collect any fees regardless of the form for negotiating or attempting to negotiate a loan modification for a residential mortgage. All services must be fully completed before any charges can be imposed. It is also illegal to divide advance fees or services into components for the purpose of avoiding this law.~~Housing and Development approved housing counselors are exempt from this law.

Other Considerations

Since August of 2009 we have received reports that this company is no longer located at the Ynez Ave. address in Temecula. They have reportedly vacated the address and disconnected the phone numbers. The company refers clients to Diamond Loss Mitigation or Cedar Tree Financial. Seperate reports are available upon request.
