State law provides a cooling off period during which you may cancel dating service contracts. The contract must be accompanied by a cancellation form. Cancellations must be postmarked by midnight of the third day after the contract was signed. We suggest sending your cancellation by certified mail to obtain proof of receipt. You should be aware that California allows dating services to charge fees for various services upon cancellation; there is no restriction as to the percentage of the contract price or the types of fees covered. This company's contract allows only one other cancellation. If a client relocates permanently the client must send a letter from their new home notifying the company of the move. Refunds are pro-rated.
