The company has advised the Bureau that they do not provide match making, or blind introduction services. The company maintains a video library which contains profile information, photos, and videos of current members. Members select prospective dates themselves, based on profile statistics, photos and videos. The company contends, members who choose dating prospects with unrealistic expectations may not obtain the number of dates desired, due to mutual consent policies. The company disputes allegations of unfullfilled contracts. They contend they do fullfill their membership agreement, and offer personalized member services when requested.

Dating service agreements are required by California law to include a three-day cooling-off period, during which the client may cancel for any reason. If the contract doesn't include this provision, you may cancel it at any time. The company's cancellation policies, along with instructions for cancellation should be provided on your contract, or on a separate attachment when your contract is signed. The three day period begins upon the client receiving a signed copy of the contract.

To avoid problems make sure you are aware of exactly what services are included in your contract, and get any and all verbal promises or guarantees in writing. Study your contract before you sign it. Read and understand all terms and conditions. Generally, contracts for this industry do not permit cancellation past the three day cancellation period.
