Unsolicited explicit mail coming to my house was resolved.

Experience was pleasant trying to get this resolved. BCA diligently worked on getting my issue resolved. Heat magazine replied within a timely effort and resolved by removing me from their distribution list. Thanks for all the help. In the future I would suggest that emails be sent to people prior to sending mail to their house. They could still want your business, but maybe to an alternate address or PO BOX.

Complaint Resolution Index (CRI)

BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Most complainants allege they receive unwanted unsolicited pornographic materials at their home or office that they are unable to have stopped. Some recipients claim they have contacted the company to request to be removed from mailing lists however the unwanted materials continue to arrive. Other complainants report they are unable to contact the company to request removal due to non-disclosure of contact information on materials received. ~~The company responds to most complaints by agreeing to discontinue the mailings and giving written assurance to complainants that their contact information was removed from the company's customer lists. A few complaints are unresolved meaning the customer was not satisfied with the company's response. Complainants filed statements disputing that the mailings had ceased. The company contends that it may take up to 30 days for all company controlled entities to implement the change and once again offered assurances that the mailings would cease.

Comments and Analysis

If you have received unwanted mailings of sexually explicit materials that you would like to have stopped contact your local Postal Inspector to request a """"1500 Form"""". To find the nearest office call 800-275-8777. The 1500 Form enables you to notify sexually explicit mailers to cease mailing you.
