I have been going through rent scams with this company for years. I payed my July and August rent with money orders like I was instructed to to drop it off at the office in the dropbox because I was no longer able to use the portal because I was on the eviction list. I did what I was told by the corporate of invitation, homes and now they're telling me that they've never received my money. This was August 31 of 2025. I have all my proof and I have videos that it was dropped into their dropbox on 31 August 2025.. Resolution Sought Find my money so that my name is not on the eviction list when I leave this house I've never been on eviction list

The local management team reached out to Kimberly to discuss their concerns regarding the rental payment. The payments were found and posted to their account. We were awaiting final contract documents for their account, and now that they are received, we have requested the account to reviewed by our accounting department. We will be meeting Kimberly when they drop off payment on Monday to assure the payment is received.

Invitation Homes has received and reviewed Keisha complaint to the Business Consumer Alliance. We value our customers and are working directly with our resident to resolve the matter. Invitation Homes responds here to the Business Consumer Alliance's request for information as a courtesy. Keisha has been in ongoing communication with the Portfolio Director regarding elevated water bills, which began after the water was shut off in June 2025 following the first notification from Conservice. • Initial Issue: A leak originating from the upstairs bathroom was addressed in April 2025. Inspection Timeline: • A general inspection in July found no additional leaks. • An attempted inspection on 08/06/2025 was unsuccessful due to resident unavailability, despite a Notice to Enter posted on 08/05/2025 and an email sent to the primary resident, Anya. • On 08/14/2025, following another high-usage alert from Conservice, an in-house technician repaired a running toilet. Billing & Credit: • The Portfolio Director has allowed Keisha to pay rent excluding the $564.62 water charge from the May 30–June 30 billing period, pending credit determination. • A credit adjustment request is under review, and the Portfolio Director will follow up with Keisha once the final amount is confirmed. • A normalized bill reflecting post-repair usage is expected from Conservice in October or November 2025. Invitation Homes prides itself on good customer service and legal and ethical compliance. As always, it is our hope to quickly reach a successful resolution of the complaint directly with the claimant and that this response shall close the matter with the Business Consumer Alliance.

Keisha has maintained consistent communication with the Portfolio Director regarding elevated water bills, which began after a water shutoff in June, initiated after the first notification from Conservice. In July, a general inspection did not reveal leaks. On August 6th, an inspection couldn’t be completed due to Keisha’s unavailability despite a Notice to Enter being posted and an email sent to the primary leaseholder. On August 14th, an in-house technician discovered and repaired a running toilet. The Portfolio Director authorized Keisha to exclude the $564.62 water charge from the May 30–June 30 billing period from the September rent payment, pending final credit determination. Keisha received water bills from Conservice totaling $1,182.10 for the June 30–July 30 billing period and $501.66 for the July 30–August 26 billing period. Credits are approved only for periods during which residents actively attempted to resolve the issue by submitting a work order. A credit of $429.80 was added to Keisha’s account and scheduled to be posted on September 29th. As water usage has not yet returned to normal levels, we are awaiting the billing associated with November’s rent.
