I purchased a Sierra IV foam sofa on 2/5/2024. Delivery was 2/28. The fabric was the standard one in the picture. I love the sofa, except the fabric keeps fraying on the seat cushion seams. It is now the third one that has separated. They sent me two replacements for the same center section. Now, the one on the right is ripped, which I discovered right before my warranty expired, but I do have carefree protection on it. The last cushion replacement I got I fray sealed all the seams, as I can tell this fabric just separates and frays with any movement. It should not have been used on this type of furniture unless the seams were protected by stitching or fray stopper. I feel unless I get two new cushion covers for the left and right and spend days sealing every seam, this will continue to happen. I have read multiple reviews with the same complaint. I feel the fabric is wrong, and I should get a replacement in another fabric or have the new cushion covers sealed professionally. This is not an expensive couch, I know, but this is just a manufacturing defect. My order no is SO-012339508 Customer No is C-013708538 Resolution Sought Replace the sofa in a different fabric

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. It appears the guest filed a duplicate complaint with the BBB. On 3/12/2025 the guest was advised that Living Spaces offers a one (1) year limited warranty on most of its furniture covering manufacturer defects in workmanship and material. This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. The reported issue is no longer covered under warranty, as the warranty period expired on 2/28/2025. The guest will need to file the claim through carefree directly.

The Carefree plan that they sold me will not repair the couch they told me it's normal wear and tear. It's not normal wear and tear it's been doing this since I bought it so I guess this is just disposable furniture they sell. One year multiple problems and then you're done. They sell you a useless contract this is been going on for the whole entire time I've had the couch. It's a fabric defect. There's multiple reviews online for the same exact issue shredding of the seams. The Carefree plan declined to repair.

Very seldom to I leave a review this terrible. I purchased a set from Living spaces in Feb 24 for approx $2500. This set was decent and has looked good style wise, although the quality of the material was a bit questionable. However, you get what you pay for. Given that we were happy with the first set, when we decided to remodel, we went back in November of 24. I spent over $7k on a leather sofa set on 11/22/24. The first sofa delivered on 11/25 was damaged at the warehouse, the second delivered on 12/6 was cut by a box cutter during delivery, the third delivery on 12/9 came with box cutter marks which were done at warehouse or delivery, the fourth delivery on 12/16 was a used returned sofa delivered (cuts, marks, dirt), the 5th delivery on 12/18 had major sun damage and discoloration from sitting in the sun, and the final 6th delivery on 12/23 had manufacturer die defects (there is a repair spot on the arm). Each time, managers assured me the next sofa would be inspected prior to delivery, but none of them were actually inspected. I offered to go to the warehouse prior to delivery to inspect but was told they wouldn't let us do this. I have spoken to multiple reps, supervisors, and managers online. They also asked the store to get involved to assist me. The first two store employees (Joshua and Diane) were so nice and both admitted they have a systemic warehouse issue as well as the fact that they contract 3rd party delivery teams which are not great. Resolution Sought I would like them to exchange the sofa for one that is not defective.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, we apologize for the unpleasant experience. A duplicate BBB complaint for this guest was received on 12/30/2024, we informed them that due to repeated exchanges and issues with the furniture, Living Spaces is honoring a return on the entire sectional as further exchanges are not feasible. It appears an exception was made, and one last delivery attempt is set to take place on 1/17/2025. Photos of the items were requested from the warehouse, it is to their discretion to send them to the customer prior to delivery.
