On December 9, 2021 and October 15, 2021, Business Consumer Alliance (BCA) wrote to Nonprofit Alliance of Consumer Advocates (NACA) requesting information and documentation regarding their services. Some of the requested information includes:
• NACA's State Bar license to provide legal services
• Copy of NACA's C.H.A.M.P. package
• List of 3rd party affiliates that provide services for NACA clients
• Copy of the contracts NACA clients are provided from the 3rd party affiliates
• Copy of the materials and information given to client regarding the consumer protective products and services not included in the no fee agreement.
• Information regarding their Charity filing with the Department of Justice
• Clarification of their contract.
To date, the company has not provided all information requested although they replied that they would.
BCA urges caution. We believes the company may be charging advance fees for services including mortgage relief and credit repair services.
