Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. BCA's Summary and Analysis:

A couple of complainants allege to have verbally agreed to services, but later rescinded their agreement only to have their accounts debited for hundreds of dollars. These customers claimed they did not sign a contract. One other complainant alleges services were not provided and the company failed to specify the interest rates, amounts of payment, and that they would retain the enrollment fee.

The company responds by cancelling agreements, and issuing full refunds. In one case, the company states they did not receive the notice to cancel in time to prevent the account from automatically being debited. The company responded to the last complaint by stating interest rates and monthly payments were provided in writing, at the time of enrollment and a full refund was credited.

Those fees include a one-time sum not to exceed $50 for education and counseling. In addition, charges cannot exceed 8% of the money disbursed monthly or $35 per month, whichever is less.
