Complaints generally derive from the verbal representations made prior to signing the contract. Be sure that any verbal promises of services or guarantees of any kind are written in the contract. California Law allows for cancellation of career management contracts within 72 hours of signing. Cancellation requests should be sent by certified mail in order to obtain proof of delivery. We believe this company is required to register and post a $10,000 bond with the California Secretary of State as an employment counseling service. In addition, because the company claims to process Visa paperwork for job seekers, check with the INS to determine if the company has complied with State or Federal registration requirements.
