Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. Complainants allege that the company misrepresents the nature of their presentations to gain access to sell vacuums fail to honor cancellation policies as provided by their representatives and does not provide refunds or provides delayed refunds. ~Some customers indicate the company offers a free carpet cleaning presentation which results in a lengthy sales presentation. In some cases complainants claim that sales associates fail to provide a cancellation notice or indicate there is a 30 day cancellation period rather than a 3 day cancellation period. As a result those who do send in the cancellation notice are provided with a promise of a refund and the return of their trade; but receive conflicting messages and no refund. Others indicate the company fails to show up to pick up the vacuum cleaners as indicated in their agreement. The company generally responds to complaints by issuing refunds canceling contracts or stating customer is not entitled to refund/cancellation as they exceed the 3 day cancellation period.
