I Purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid new and had regular maintenance done from Pittsburg All Star Ford and other reputable service providers. I returned from traveling abroad and had a 90,000 mile service completed with green light on the vehicle documented. Unfortunately the vehicle's transmission went out after returning from a long drive to San Jose on 03/16/2025 - six days later. The next morning I looked at the vehicles engine compartment and discovered none of the fluids were serviced, in fact they were close to being empty, including the transmission cooling fluid reservoir, the brake line reservoir and the engine cool fluid reservoir. I contacted All Star Ford and spoke to the service Dept manager Chris Tastard. I asked how it was possible for the transmission to go out days after a 90,000 mile service, I also showed him the photos of the empty reservoirs and his response was let's go take a look at it. When we arrived I opened the hood and asked him to explain why the transmission cooling fluid reservoir and the brake line reservoir looked like they were empty, and why the engine cooling reservoir was way below the minimum level. Chris Tastard said they don't top them off, my response was then please explain why the coolant fluids are beyond the minimum levels and clearly dangerous. He said I don't know, but let's take it back to the shop and find out. He also said it was probably under warranty and if his guys didn't fill them he would find out. It never happened. Resolution Sought Replace Ford Fusion Hybrid transmission or pay for another dealership to repair.
